Residential Construction - Showcase Property
1217 Hanover is our featured residential project. Purchased as a shell, this luxury home was constructed with significant renovation and a large addition added to the rear of the house.

Basement Hawkeye began this renovation by digging the basement several feet deeper, underpinning the foundation every two feet. The radiant heat concrete floor was then poured and stained for visual effect.
The walls were originally stone, but it was not visually appealing, so a cut stone veneer was installed.
The entertainment system, including a projection television with a motorized screen that stores inside the ceiling required custom wiring, which was run through the ceiling and throughout the entire house. |

Kitchen
The kitchen is part of the three-story addition to the house. Designed for gourmet chefs, it includes a grill/range with electric ignition, overhead hood vent, standard and vegetable sink with garbage disposals, in-counter steamer pot, custom granite and dual commercial-grade refrigerator freezers.
Because lighting plays an important part in culinary pursuits, the kitchen has four separate sets of lights that can be used in any combination, depending on the needs of the chef.

Bath
Each of the four and one half baths in this house feature specialty tile and plumbing. The master bath features a steam shower, five body sprays, three shower heads including a rainfall shower head.
To keep the hot water flowing in this system, a Rinnai continuous hot water system was installed.

HAWKEYE RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION
